Speaking at an event in San Francisco, Gates said that a future Artificial Intelligence (AI) personal assistant would be so efficient and profound that other competitors will not be able to stand their ground.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Epstein met Antonova three years later in 2013 and paid for her to&nbsp;attend software coding school. She was&nbsp;looking for financial backers for a bridge academy and&nbsp;Boris Nikolic, a top adviser to Gates at the time, pointed her to Epstein.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Later, in 2017, Epstein, who had learned about the affair, brazenly emailed Gates and requested reimbursement for the course. It was an implicit yet subtle threat from Epstein that he knew about Gates' business.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“The tone of the message was that Epstein knew about the affair and could expose it, the people said,” the Journal reported, adding that a Gates spokesperson said that the Microsoft founder “had no financial dealings with Epstein”.</p>

<p>Antonova told the Journal that she did meet Epstein but did not know who he was at the time, thinking he was just a&nbsp;“successful businessman" who "wanted to help”.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>“I am disgusted with Epstein and what he did,” Antonova said while declining to comment on her alleged relationship with Gates.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Epstein agreed to pay, and he paid directly to the school,” she added. “Nothing was exchanged. I don’t know why he did that.</p>

<p>Irani, who spearheaded the campaign, praised Gate's culinary skills. She told the media, "Never before has a partner from the women and child development been adventurous enough to venture near the making of khichdi."</p>

<p>During his trip, the billionaire met many bigwigs. Ratan Tata, Anand Mahindra and Sachin Tendulkar to name a few. He addressed important issues such as climate change, nutrition, health and poverty several times during the trip.</p>

<p>In his blog "Gates Notes", Microsoft cofounder and Bill &amp; Melinda Gates Foundation co-chair Bill Gates said India is the source of hope for the future and said that the country has solved big problems at once, at a time when multiple crises were being faced by the world. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Bill Gates, in his blog, said that he believes with the correct delivery channels and right innovations, the world is capable of progressing on a lot of major problems at once, even when the world is battling multiple crises and he receives responses like, "There isn't enough time or money to solve both at the same time."</p>

<p>In his blog, Gates said that all the responses were proved wrong by India. "There is no better proof than the remarkable progress that India has accomplished," said Gates.<br />
"India as a whole gives me hope for the future. It's about to become the world's most populous country, which means you can't solve most problems there without solving them at scale. And yet, India has proven it can tackle big challenges. The country eradicated polio, lowered HIV transmission, reduced poverty, cut infant mortality, and increased access to sanitation and financial services," he said.</p>

<p>“India worked with experts and funders (including the Gates Foundation) to build factories and create large-scale delivery channels to distribute the vaccines. By 2021, 83 per cent of 1-year-olds had been inoculated against rotavirus, and these low-cost vaccines are now being used in other countries around the world,” Gates further wrote.</p>

<p>Speaking about providing funding to Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Gates said, "The Gates Foundation joined hands with India's public sector and CGIAR institutions to support the work of researchers at IARI. They found a new solution: chickpea varieties that have more than 10 per cent higher yields and are more drought-resistant. One variety is already available to farmers, and others are currently developing at the institute. As a result, India is better prepared to keep feeding its people and supporting its farmers even in a warming world. It's no exaggeration to say that India's agricultural future is growing right now in a field in Pusa."</p>

<p>Microsoft founder Bill Gates has set his eyes on an Australian climate technology start-up that plans to curb planet-heating methane emissions that comes from cow burps.</p>

<p>The tech billionaire has infused $12m investment through his Breakthrough Energy Venture on a firm called Rumin8. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Chinese entrepreneur Jack Ma are the other backers of the Breakthrough fund.</p>

<p>"We have been very pleased with the reception we have received from climate impact funds around the world," Rumin8's managing director David Messina said.</p>

<p>"There is a genuine desire to fund solutions to enteric methane emissions from livestock and fortunately for Rumin8, they can see the benefits of our technology," he added.</p>

<p>According to reports, Rumin8 is developing a range of supplements to feed cows in order to reduce the amount of methane they burp out.</p>
