As the seventh and final phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections concluded on Saturday (June 1), the exit polls took centre stage indicating what the people of the world's biggest democracy chose while exercising their franchise.

The exit poll projections are a post-election survey that predicts the anticipated winners and their victory margin. The predictions are based on voter feedback collected by survey agencies after the polling.

The actual result of the elections held in all 543 parliamentary seats will be declared on June 4 by the Election Commission of India.

In the Lok Sabha Elections 2014, the BJP-led NDA was estimated to win around 257-340 seats. The NDA won 336 seats.
