Here's what new report says</a></p><p><br>Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared pictures of Nikam and Ganguly and wrote,''My being is through my Art. Just finished shooting for my next Biopic #NIKAM and yes, it has demanded me to change physically which I love doing. I’m not a believer in prosthetic as long as I can achieve the look through my hardwork which I’ve achieved in Nikam be it gaining weight or looking old (to play a certain age)or to make my hair thin which my hair stylist was very much against but everyone told me to not go half bald for BOSE also and to gain that much weight or to Not stop eating and lose so much weight for TRAPPED or to not behave like a visually impaired person even when cameras weren’t rolling during SRIKANTH. For Nikam I had to gain around 9-10 kgs and I was eating 2 pizzas and lot of sweets and my fav Aloo Parathas, Biryani and to not use anything glam to look like the part. Hopefully, when you will see the film which will be releasing soon you will be able to see all that hardwork in the film. And now it’s the transition phase and time to lose these extra kgs and get ready to slip into Ganguly mode. Our very own Dada. Will always work the hardest to engage you, entertain you through my work. Much Love."</p>

<p>In a landmark moment for India’s live entertainment industry and the global electronic dance music ecosystem, Sunburn, Asia’s largest electronic dance music platform, today announced its foray into Europe with the launch of Sunburn Europe Croatia Sail Week 2026, in partnership with The Playmaker Group.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Set against the stunning backdrop of the Adriatic Sea this July, the debut edition will unfold as a week-long, multi-destination festival residency, coinciding with Croatia’s globally renowned Yacht Week, marking a significant shift in how dance music experiences are curated and consumed.<br><br>Registration for Sunburn Europe Croatia Sail Week 2026 are open.&nbsp;<br><br>Following its recently announced expansion into Abu Dhabi, this move positions 2026 as a pivotal year in Sunburn’s international growth, accelerating its evolution from a dominant regional festival into a globally relevant, culturally exportable brand. Over nearly two decades, Sunburn has shaped electronic music culture across Asia, building one of the region’s most recognisable platforms and fan communities.<br><br>Sunburn’s Europe debut taps into the fast-growing global phenomenon of jet-set tourism, a growing movement of culturally attuned, experience-led travellers who are increasingly choosing destinations based on curated entertainment, social energy and immersive storytelling rather than just location. As electronic music continues to expand globally, festivals are evolving into destination-driven formats where travel and culture are as integral as the line-up. Croatia, with its established reputation as a hub for music tourism and its ecosystem of beach clubs, historic venues and island circuits, offers a natural stage for this evolution. In bringing together premium travel, curated community and high-energy programming, Sunburn positions itself at the intersection of music tourism and lifestyle, aligning with some of the world’s most progressive festival formats while introducing a distinctly Indian-born perspective to the global stage.<br><br>Speaking on the announcement, Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn, said, “Sunburn was built on the passion of its community and for nearly two decades now, that has been at the heart of everything we’ve created, but the way they experience music today has fundamentally evolved. They’re no longer just showing up for a festival, they’re travelling for it, seeking deeper, more immersive experiences that bring together music, culture and connection. With Sunburn Europe Croatia Sail Week 2026, we’re responding to that shift by creating a format where the journey itself becomes the festival: across destinations, on the water and through shared moments that go far beyond a single stage. As we take our first step into Europe, it’s also an opportunity to take a homegrown brand to the global stage in a way that feels both authentic and future-facing.”<br><br>The festival not only charts a path through Croatia’s most iconic coastal destinations, but also places the country’s natural beauty and cultural landmarks at the centre of the experience, reinforcing its position as a premier Mediterranean hub for high-value, experience-led tourism.</p>

<p>The experience begins with yacht boarding in Split and Trogir, unfolding into a sunset opening at the historic Kamerlengo Fortress, where electronic music meets centuries-old stone walls. From there, the rhythm shifts to the sunlit shores of Bol, where beachside sessions at Zlatni Rat transition seamlessly into high-energy, open-air nightlife. At Stari Grad, the format reaches one of its most defining expressions with a signature raft party, a floating arena formed in open water, where yachts converge and the sea itself becomes the dancefloor, dissolving the boundaries between stage and crowd in an immersive, communal setting.<br><br>Guy Bottomley, Managing Director, The Bucketlust, said, “The on-water experience will be delivered in partnership with The Bucketlust, a leading operator of curated yacht-based travel experiences, bringing proven expertise in delivering premium, ‘floating festival’ sailing events across Europe.”<br><br>Hvar anchors the journey with its unmistakable duality, equal parts indulgence and intensity. From iconic beachside gatherings to sunset dining, curated wine experiences and late-night sessions, the island unfolds as a seamless continuum of sound, culture and social energy. In Vis, the experience turns more elemental. Guests move through the luminous stillness of the Blue Cave before transitioning into one of the festival’s most striking moments, a night at Fort George, where a historic fortress is transformed into a high-energy electronic venue overlooking the Adriatic. The closing stretch softens into a slower, more reflective rhythm, with secluded beaches, hidden coves and open horizons giving way to a final sunset set as the fleet returns.<br><br>Throughout, music remains constant but never static, a curated blend of house, techno and commercial EDM delivered by an international roster of artists, flowing seamlessly from sunrise into after-hours. Without a singular fixed stage, the environment itself becomes part of the performance, with shifting coastlines, open water and historic structures shaping an experience that is as much about movement and place as it is about sound.<br><br>As Sunburn approaches its 20th anniversary, its international foray signals a broader shift - one where Indian live entertainment platforms are no longer just participating in global culture, but actively shaping it.<br><br>Tickets for the Sunburn Europe Croatia Sail Week 2026 will be available soon on BookMyShow.&nbsp;</p>

Follows recently announced expansion into UAE with Sunburn Festival Abu Dhabi 2026, cementing this year as Sunburn’s most aggressive global growth phase

In a landmark moment for India’s live entertainment industry and the global electronic dance music ecosystem, Sunburn, Asia’s largest electronic dance music platform, today announced its foray into Europe with the launch of Sunburn Europe Croatia Sail Week 2026, in partnership with The Playmaker Group. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Adriatic Sea this July, the debut edition will unfold as a week-long, multi-destination festival residency, coinciding with Croatia’s globally renowned Yacht Week, marking a significant shift in how dance music experiences are curated and consumed. Registration for Sunburn Europe Croatia Sail Week 2026 are open. Following its recently announced expansion into Abu Dhabi, this move positions 2026 as a pivotal year in Sunburn’s international growth, accelerating its evolution from a dominant regional festival into a globally relevant, culturally exportable brand. Over nearly two decades, Sunburn has shaped electronic music culture across Asia, building one of the region’s most recognisable platforms and fan communities. Sunburn’s Europe debut taps into the fast-growing global phenomenon of jet-set tourism, a growing movement of culturally attuned, experience-led travellers who are increasingly choosing destinations based on curated entertainment, social energy and immersive storytelling rather than just location. In bringing together premium travel, curated community and high-energy programming, Sunburn positions itself at the intersection of music tourism and lifestyle, aligning with some of the world’s most progressive festival formats while introducing a distinctly Indian-born perspective to the global stage. Speaking on the announcement, Karan Singh, CEO, Sunburn, said, “Sunburn was built on the passion of its community and for nearly two decades now, that has been at the heart of everything we’ve created, but the way they experience music today has fundamentally evolved. As we take our first step into Europe, it’s also an opportunity to take a homegrown brand to the global stage in a way that feels both authentic and future-facing.” The festival not only charts a path through Croatia’s most iconic coastal destinations, but also places the country’s natural beauty and cultural landmarks at the centre of the experience, reinforcing its position as a premier Mediterranean hub for high-value, experience-led tourism.

The sequel will not be a continuation of the 2014 film but will instead present a completely new story centred around a protagonist travelling across India. While maintaining themes of self-discovery and self-reliance, the narrative will take a fresh direction. A source revealed, “In Queen 2, Kangana’s Rani will be a city girl unlike the small-town girl in the original. She will be smart, strong, and quirky, but a plot point will send her on the road of self-discovery. It will show how she conquers life through her individuality, self-realisation, and courage. While the first one saw her travelling to Paris and Amsterdam alone, this journey will take her across cities in India.” Also read: Filmmaker Ranjith remanded to 14-day judicial custody in sexual harassment case Who all will be returning for the sequel? Apart from Ranaut, the familiar faces from the original film, including Rajkummar Rao and Lisa Haydon, will not return in the sequel. It has also been reported that the director has chosen several theatre actors for supporting roles in the second instalment. On when and where the movie is going to go on floors, the sources said that the shooting will start in Mumbai. The source added, “The unit will kick off the project in a Mumbai studio, where a set reflecting a North Indian city and another depicting the protagonist’s home will be built. After the Mumbai leg, they will move to other metro cities. The film will be completed in a start-to-finish schedule of three months.” The sequel is being produced by Bahl under his own banner. In addition to directing, he will also serve as the film’s writer. Kangana was last seen in the 2025 release Emergency.

<p>Almost every character in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has left an indelible mark on the audience. Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi’s performance as Jameel Jamali particularly emerged as a fan favourite, especially after the release of Dhurandhar 2. Pakistani leader Nabil Gabol, on whom Rakesh Bedi's character in Dhurandhar is based, has denied ever meeting fugitive Dawood Ibrahim. Gabol claimed that what the film depicts is false.

Almost every character in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar has left an indelible mark on the audience. Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi’s performance as Jameel Jamali particularly emerged as a fan favourite, especially after the release of Dhurandhar 2. The character is reportedly inspired by Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol. The politician has now reacted to Dhurandhar: The Revenge, which shows his character meeting fugitive Dawood Ibrahim reffered as Bade Sahab in the film. In the film, Bade Sahab is shown as a shadowy figure initially and later as a bedridden figure, who orchestrates events from the background. A key scene suggests that his condition is the result of slow poisoning by Jameel Jamali, who is later revealed as an Indian intelligence agent. Has Nabil Gabol met Dawood Ibrahim? In a recent interview, Nabil Gabol was asked about the speculation around speculations surrounding Dawood Ibrahim’s whereabouts in Karachi. The host asked him, “Humare Mumbai se ek padosi rehte hain Karachi mein, unhe bade sahab bolte hain. Kya aap mile ho unse (Our neighbour from Mumbai lives in Karachi; he is called Bade Sahab. Have you met him?)” To this, Gabol replied, “Main kabhi nahi mila hun, na mujhe pata hai ke woh Karachi mein mein rehte hain… Media aur Dhurandhar film mein dhikhaya hai ke woh Karachi ke Clifton area mein rehte hain… Woh area mere ghar se 200 metre ki duri pe hai… But na meine unhe dekha hai kahi ya unke baare mein sunna hai (I have never met him, nor do I know if he lives in Karachi… The media and the film Dhurandhar show that he lives in Karachi’s Clifton area… That area is just about 200 metres from my house… But I have neither seen him anywhere nor heard anything about him).” Also read: Amid Dhurandhar 2 success, Shah Rukh Khan poses with Ranveer Singh in Mumbai Gabol added, “Dhurandhar mein dhikhaya hai ke woh death bed pe hain aur marne wale hai Jameel ke injection dene ke baad. But mujhe nahi pata ke woh hai ya nahi hai (In Dhurandhar, it is shown that he is on his deathbed and about to die after Jameel gives him an injection. But I don’t know whether it is actually the case or not).” Also read: Rakesh Bedi’s old Dhurandhar dialogue clip goes viral; fans call it 'manifestation' Nabil Gabol on Dhurandhar Soon after the release of Dhurandhar in December 2025, Nabil Gabol had expressed his dissatisfaction with how his character was portrayed on-screen. “Jo mera role dikhaya gaya hai, mera role bahut dabbang tha, or dabbang iss tareeke se tha ki inhone mere role ko sahi tareeke se nahi dikhaya (I was very audacious. But they haven’t shown me the way I was). They have not shown me the way I was,” Gabol had told Pakistani media at that time. He had also raised objection on the depiction of Lyari in the film. And if there agent had been there, he would not have gone back alive from Lyari),” he said. In the film, Jameel Jamali was one of key characters. The character’s real identity was revealed at the end of part 2. Rakesh Bedi earned praise for his portrayal of a Karachi-based politician who turns out to be an Indian spy. Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty and his production house Paramvah Studios have been asked to pay a fine of Rs 25 lac to a music label for using its two songs in the film Bachelor Party without proper permission and license in place.

Kannada star Rakshit Shetty’s production house, Paramvah Studios, has been asked by the Delhi High Court to pay a fine of Rs 25 Lakh for the unauthorised use of two songs in Shetty’s Kannada film Bachelor Party. Justice Tejas Karia held the studio liable for copyright infringement and willful disobedience of court directions. The makers had defended, claiming that the musical usage was too "minimal" to require a license. “In any event, the use of the Original Works in the Impugned Film was not minimal as the song ‘Omme Ninnanu’ was incorporated for a substantial 31 seconds, whereas the song ‘Nyaya Ellide’ was used for 7 seconds.” What does the Copyright Act say? Shetty asked to pay up According to a report in the Bar & Bench, the court stopped short of sending Shetty to the jail. Instead, asked him and his studio to pay Rs 5 lakh to purge contempt of its orders. "However, upon consideration of the Affidavit dated 31.10.2025 submitted by Defendant Nos. 1 and 2 expressing regret for their actions, the Court is inclined to exercise leniency. What’s the case? A music label called MRT Music, claimed ownership over the two songs, including their sound recordings and underlying literary and musical works in court and produced an assignment deed as proof. The songs were created in 2020. The music label alleged that the songs were used in Bachelor Party without a proper licence. One of the songs was played on a television in a scene in the film, while the other was sung in a classroom sequence to support the narrative. The film was released theatrically in January 2024 and later made available on OTT platforms. On August 12, 2024, the Court passed an interim order directing the defendants to deposit Rs 20 lakh within four weeks and take down infringing content. However, the makers did not pay and continued to exploit the works, leading MRT Music to initiate contempt proceedings. The defendants subsequently deposited the amount during the course of the proceedings, but the delay in compliance formed the basis of the contempt action. Shetty and Paramvah Studios argued the use was "de minimis" (minimal), noting that "Nyaya Ellide" appeared for only 7 seconds and "Omme Ninnanu" for 31 seconds. However, the court observed that the creative intent was infringed and the duration did not matter. While Shetty's legal team stated that the usage of the two songs were "incidental" or “irrelevant”, the court shut down the argument stating that the songs were carefully selected to drive the movie's narrative.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Raazi is a gripping spy thriller film that stars Alia Bhatt as Sehmat Khan, a young Kashmiri girl who marries into a Pakistani military family during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi, featuring Alia Bhatt, is one of the best spy thriller movies made in India. Based on Harinder Sikka’s best-selling book, ‘’Calling Sehmat,'' the movie, released in 2018, not only impressed viewers but also critics. Eight years after the movie was released in cinemas, the author of the book has shockingly come out to criticise Meghna over altering the book’s true narrative and instead showing a version that, he says, misrepresented India. Harinder Sikka slams Meghna Gulzar over Raazi,'my gravest misjudgement' Sikka’s criticism of Meghna has come at a time when the buzz around espionage thrillers and their adaptation to the big screen has grown, amid discussions about Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Talking to X, Sikka described Calling Sehmat as “among the top books on espionage ever written globally, as he called “Appointing Meghna Gulzar was my gravest misjudgement.” Saying that he failed to foresee how ideological bias would end up ending the true spirit of the central character, he wrote,''It was my fault. I was told by many people not to trust Meghna Gulzar But I couldn’t believe it. ‘Trust, but verify.’” Also read: Rahul Arunoday Banerjee drowned while saving his co-star, reveal eyewitness
