Megan Thee Stallion was taken to the hospital after she fell ill during the middle of her Moulin Rouge show, which also marks her Broadway debut. 

Megan Thee Stallion was taken to the hospital in New York City after she fell ill in the midst of performing in Moulin Rouge! The Musical. The 31-year-old entertainer took the stage and performed some of the opening scenes. However, she started feeling ill and had to go to the hospital.

Megan's stylist and close friend, Kellon Deryck, who has been working, shared the news of her hospitalisation with a post on X.

“Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital.” As this news created tension, Megan's representative, Didier Morais, released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, saying, “During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated.”

Morais added, “We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.”

Exactly what has happened to the WAP singer has not yet been revealed. However, her fans are worried for the singer and are wishing for her speedy recovery.

The Breakfast Club producer Loren Lorosa, who was in the audience, has shared that Megan was great in the opening scenes of the show. However, unexpectedly, they stopped the show mid-way and apologised to the audience.

Taking to X, Lorosa shared, ''Came to see Meg The stallion on broadway and that was short lived. The few opening scenes I saw her in she was great on stage! I was excited BUT…They just stopped moulin rouge mid show apologized to the audience and said ..”stay inside and seated” I asked security if we’re safe .. they told us “for now, we’ll update you if anything changes”

The news of her health comes a week after the Grammy-winning singer made her Broadway debut as Zidler in the Tony Award-winning musical at New York’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre. This is the first time that an woman is performing this character in the history of this long-running show.

Sharing a snippet from her performance on Instagram, the singer wrote,''MY BROADWAY DEBUT AS ZIDLER IN @moulinrougebway 🥹🥹🎭🎭 So grateful for this incredible cast & crew & everyone who worked so hard to make opening night a success!! HOTTIES IM ON BROADWAY!! Come see me now through May 17 & celebrate with @chicasdivertidastequila 🥂🎩❣️.''

Starting from March 24, the show was set to end on May 17. However, as of now, it is unclear whether the show will continue or not.
