Kangana Ranaut reacts to PM Modi and Italian PM's 'Melodi' video
Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut recently reacted to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's viral 'Melodi' video from the G7 Summit, held in Italy's Apulia on Saturday. The clip shows Meloni saying, "Hello from the Melodi team," as PM Modi laughed at the selfie moment.
The video has been doing rounds on social media ever since Meloni posted it on X, with a caption that read, "Hi friends, from #Melodi." Netizens are impressed with the video, with many leaving heartfelt notes in the comments.
Kangana, too, couldn't help but gush over the two Prime Ministers' camaraderie. Taking to her Instagram Stories, the actress wrote, "One of the most endearing qualities of Modi ji is that he makes women feel that he is rooting for them and wants them to rise (heart emoji). No wonder PM Meloni thinks that Modi ji is team Meloni."

G7 Summit marks PM Modi's first international visit since taking oath for the third time. He represented India as an outreach nation on the sidelines of the summit. In another post, PM Modi thanked Meloni for inviting him to the G7 Summit. He wrote, "Thanked her for inviting India to be a part of the G7 Summit and for the wonderful arrangements."
Meanwhile, Kangana entered politics in 2024 by joining Bharatiya Janata Party and contesting from Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh. She defeated her rival, Congress' Vikramaditya Singh by 74,755 votes.
On the work front, Kangana will be seen portraying former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in her maiden solo directorial, Emergency. The film also starsAnupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, late Satish Kaushik, and Mahima Chaudhry among others.
