The border agents in El Paso, Texas, were left stunned when they noticed trays of eggs while seizing the drugs last month amid a shortage in the United States. The high cost of eggs in the US has made the Americans desperate, as they are cleaning out supermarket shelves and also attempting to bring them from Mexico.
US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recently revealed that the confiscation of eggs is 36 per cent up nationwide so far this fiscal year, as compared with the previous year. CBP also stated that the confiscations have risen by 54 per cent along parts of the Texas border. They have more than doubled in San Diego.&nbsp;

The rate increase is concerning as people are prohibited from bringing raw eggs across the border due to concerns about diseases such as highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI).&nbsp;

Abu Qatal, a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist behind several attacks in India, who is also a nephew of Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed, was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Saturday night (Mar 15), media reports said. Seven innocent people, including two children, were killed, and several others were severely injured. The NIA document added, "Three of the charge-sheeted individuals are LeT handlers, identified as Saifullah @Sajid Jutt @Ali @Habibullah @Numan @Langda @Noumi, Mohd Qasim, and Abu Qatal @Qatal Sindhi". While Abu Qatal and Sajit Jutt are Pakistani nationals, Qasim had exfiltrated to Pakistan sometime around 2002 and had joined the LeT terrorist ranks there, NIA documents noted. One of the most anticipated Malayalam films of the year, L2: Empuraan, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, is officially on track for its March 27 release. The film was rumoured to be delayed due to a dispute between Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions over distribution rights.
Reports suggested that Aashirvad wanted Lyca to exit the project, but Lyca demanded ₹75 crore, the amount they had invested, plus an additional ₹10 crore as compensation. This sparked speculation that the release would be postponed.
