<p>It has a bed as well as a stowaway tray which one can pull out and use like a workstation. There is storage space for keeping emergency kits, supplies, a toilet as well as a kitchenette for heating meals.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The astronauts remained holed up in the simulation for three weeks.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Hab-1 is designed keeping in mind that space is going to be very limited on the Moon or Mars. The astronaut will also have very limited water so we designed a dry toilet. We also put in place a system for a proper disposal of waste and ensured that the habitat remained odour-free," said Kacha-Jhala.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kacha-Jhala is now holding talks with ISRO for constructing the country's first permanent simulation space facility in Ladakh. This is happening at a time when India is making preparations for sending its first astronauts into space.</p>

<p>On December 10, the teacher felt that there was something unusual in the bulb holder and saw a faint light coming from it which aroused her suspicion.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After examining it closely, she found that there was a hidden spy camera installed in the bulb holder. The teacher informed the security guard about it after which he confirmed about the presence of the device.</p>

<p>As per the teacher, no action was taken by either Sahay or Parul. After the teacher filed a complaint, an investigation was launched by Noida Central Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Shakti Mohan Awasthi who registered the case.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the investigation, the police confirmed that the spy camera was operational and was able to live-stream footage without recording the visuals. The police later arrested director Navnish Sahay.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>School director admits to committing the crime&nbsp;</strong></h2>

<p>According to the police, Sahay admitted to the crimes amid the interrogation and said that he had bought the spy camera from an online platforms for Rs 22,000 (approx. $259).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The makers of the spy camera have specifically designed it for concealing it inside a bulb holder and make it almost undetectable without close scrutiny.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As per the official release, the change will help US employers hire according to their needs of business and remain competitive on a global scale.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The new rules will come into effect on January 17, 2025.</p>

<p>Speaking about the new rules, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas said, “American businesses rely on the H-1B visa programme for the recruitment of highly-skilled talent, benefiting communities across the country."</p>

<p>The rule is also applicable for beneficiaries who have an interest in petitioning an organisation and permits them to qualify for an H-1B visa under some conditions.</p>

<p>The USCIS has been granted more authority to impose penalties and conduct inspections in case of non-compliance.</p>

US outgoing government relaxes H1-B visa rules. Here's how it will benefit Indians

<p>The Delhi Police arrested four fake&nbsp;police officers for accusing college students of running a fake call centre and conducting a fake raid at their houses in West Delhi in which they confiscated Rs1.55 lakh (approx. $1,825) in cash and made them sit like roosters.&nbsp;</p>

<p>All the accused, Manpreet Singh, 29, Junaid Wasid, 23, Kuldeep Singh, 22, and Sarabjeet Singh alias Prince, 22, were arrested by the police on Tuesday (Dec 17).&nbsp;</p>

<p>All of them are residents of West Delhi and have been booked&nbsp;under charges of robbery with an attempt to cause grievous hurt or death.</p>

<p>The fake raid continued at the flat of the students for four hours on December 10. The imposters made the victims sit like roosters, took their photographs holding a gun and asked them to lock themselves in their own houses.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Here's what happened</strong></h2>

<p>In his complaint, Salve said that three men approached him and Vaswani at 9.30 pm (local time) on December 10 and claimed that they had video evidence which proved their involvement in a fake call centre.</p>

<p>The police officer said that the trio identified themselves as police staff and were later joined by an associate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Even though the students showed their college IDs and denied any wrongdoing, the mobile phones were forcibly confiscated by the four men and the students were brought to their flat to carry out searches.</p>

<p>Yoon Suk Yeol, the impeached president of South Korea, failed to show up before the corruption watchdog of the country on Wednesday (Dec 18) after they summoned him for questioning over his failed attempt to impose martial law.</p>

<p>The parliament had stripped Yoon of his duties at the weekend after he imposed the short-lived martial law on December 3 which pushed the country into its worst political turmoil.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The corruption investigation office's (CIO) investigators had summoned Yoon to their facility located in Seoul at 10 am (0100 GMT). The officials had to question him over the charges of abuse of power and insurrection which he was facing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“While we do not consider the insurrection charges to be legally valid, we will comply with the investigation,” said Seok Dong-hyeon, who is in Yoon’s team.</p>

<p>This week, the CIO said that they had sent a summon&nbsp;to Yoon which was returned “undelivered” after an official at the presidential office did not accept it.</p>

<p>The no-show of Yoon on Wednesday (Dec 18) “will be considered as a failure to comply with the first summons”, said a CIO statement.</p>

<p>As per the investigators, they are planning to send a second summon, however, CIO chief Oh Dong-woon informed parliament on Tuesday (Dec 17) that they are reconsidering if they should issue an arrest warrant.</p>

<p>Mr Christmas LLC and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have been warning customers regarding these gadgets which have been produced by Mr. Christmas LLC, who is from Memphis, Tennessee, because they contain wireless receivers which carry the chances of overheating after getting connected to any outlet. </p>
<p>The company received an alert regarding 10 instances of overheating, one of which also caused a fire. No one suffered injuries in the incident and the recall was voluntarily initiated by Mr. Christmas. </p>
<p>The company has appealed to the customers to stop using the product immediately and give it back to the shop where they purchased it, which will give them a full refund.</p>

<p>A recall notice was issued by the Consumer Affairs Department on its website for the tree light controller.</p>
<p>"This recall involves a decorative tree light controller that operates wirelessly to turn on holiday lights on a tree. The decorative controller contains two parts: a lever or a switch that can be pulled to turn the holiday lights on or off, and a separate white receiver that plugs into an outlet and into which the tree's holiday lights are plugged. The controller sold at Walmart and Cracker Barrel is shaped like a green, red and white peppermint candy with a candy cane on/off lever, and displays the words 'Christmas Light Controller'," read the statement. </p>

Tennessee, United States More than 40,000 Christmas tree light controllers, which help in operating the tree lights wirelessly, have been recalled by companies because of a fire risk. Mr Christmas LLC and the Consumer Product Safety Commission have been warning customers regarding these gadgets which have been produced by Mr. Christmas LLC, who is from Memphis, Tennessee, because they contain wireless receivers which carry the chances of overheating after getting connected to any outlet. The company received an alert regarding 10 instances of overheating, one of which also caused a fire. No one suffered injuries in the incident and the recall was voluntarily initiated by Mr. Christmas. The company has appealed to the customers to stop using the product immediately and give it back to the shop where they purchased it, which will give them a full refund. Walmart and Target recall 40,000 Christmas tree light controllers over fire hazards

<p>In the entire Solar System, the most volcanic celestial body is Jupiter's moon Io. Extensive lava flows on this moon and is spread across its surface. There are nearly 400 volcanoes on it. </p></p>
<p>However, in a new study, scientists have found that this geographical situation on the moon is not because of a global and moonwide ocean of magma that flows beneath the surface. </p>
<p>An international team of researchers used images snapped by NASA's Juno spacecraft and also looked into the moon's historical data and gravitational measurements about tidal deformations of Io to determine that the volcanoes of the moon are powered by scattered magma chambers that are present in the solid mantle. </p>
<p>The new findings have countered the earlier theories, which had said that the volcanoes of Io are powered by the mostly solid mantle of the moon. </p>
<p>According to scientists, magma oceans are present in different worlds, especially during their earlier formation. This also includes our own Moon.</p>
<p>"Since Morabito's discovery, planetary scientists have wondered how the volcanoes were fed from the lava underneath the surface," said space physicist Scott Bolton, who is from the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio.</p>

<p>Jupiter's moon Io circles the planet every 42.5 hours and gets pulled and pushed by the massive gravitational forces present in the planet's elliptical orbit, which reshapes the moon constantly. </p>
<p>This phenomenon is called tidal flexing and leads to the production of a huge amount of internal heat. </p>
<p>In the new study, the deformations mentioned by the scientists are not enough to support the idea of the presence of a global magma ocean. </p>
