<p>An Indian-American man, who works as a wedding photographer, shared disturbing footage in which he and his family were seen being attacked by racist remarks by a United Airlines passenger after the flight landed in Los Angeles.</p>

<p>The man, identified as Pervez Taufiq, had boarded a plane last week with his wife and their three sons to fly from Cancun to Los Angeles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After landing in Los Angeles, their short journey on a transfer bus turned horrific when a fellow passenger attacked them and hurled vile remarks at them.</p>

<p>Taufiq said that his son was "harassed" by the foul-mouthed woman. Racist epithets were yelled at them during the bus ride, which the family recorded on a camera on November 24.</p>

<p>In the video, the woman was heard shouting, “Your family is from India, you have no respect, you have no rules, you think you can push everyone, push, push, push. You guys are f**king crazy."</p>

<p>Then, Taufiq asked the attacker to advise him to have “more curry, right?” Responding to it, the woman said she would "record your f**king tandoori a**" on her phone.</p>

An Indian-American man, who works as a wedding photographer, shared disturbing footage in which he and his family were seen being attacked by racist remarks by a United Airlines passenger after the flight landed in Los Angeles. The man, identified as Pervez Taufiq, had boarded a plane last week with his wife and their three sons to fly from Cancun to Los Angeles. After landing in Los Angeles, their short journey on a transfer bus turned horrific when a fellow passenger attacked them and hurled vile remarks at them. Taufiq said that his son was "harassed" by the foul-mouthed woman. Racist epithets were yelled at them during the bus ride, which the family recorded on a camera on November 24. In the video, the woman was heard shouting, “Your family is from India, you have no respect, you have no rules, you think you can push everyone, push, push, push. You guys are f**king crazy." Then, Taufiq asked the attacker to advise him to have “more curry, right?” Responding to it, the woman said she would "record your f**king tandoori a**" on her phone. At the start of the video, the woman even showed her middle finger to the man. United Airlines employees deboard the woman, Taufiq says she was 'drunk' Speaking to the New York Post, Taufiq said that he had gone to see his 11-year-old son when he first spoke to the woman. The woman appeared irritated and tried to move past the man and asked him if she could get to her seat. “I was like 'oh, yeah, sorry,' and then I moved to the side and she got to her seat and that was it,” said Taufiq. He said that after the plane landed, he found that the woman had questioned his son and asked him if he was Indian. The verbal altercation began when the woman snapped at the kids and asked them to keep quiet, he said. In the recorded video, the employees of United Airlines were seen approaching the woman whom Taufiq had asked her to “Get off the bus, racist.” The woman was deboarded from the bus because it was reported that she was causing difficulty, said Taufiq and added that the woman was “clearly” drunk. Taking to Instagram, Taufiq said, “Blown away these types of people still exist. As photographers we have seen a lot of, but this is one we could have done without." (With inputs from agencies)

<p>On Sunday (December 1), while speaking about the declining population of India, RSS chief Bhagwat said, "The decline in population is a matter of concern. Modern population science says that when the fertility rate of a society goes below 2.1, that society vanishes from the earth. The society gets destroyed even without any crisis. In this way, many languages and societies have disappeared. The population should not fall below 2.1."</p>

<p>"Our country's population policy was decided in 1998 or 2002, and it also mentions that the population of a society should not be less than 2.1. We need more than two or three; this is what population science says. The number is important for the survival of society," he added while speaking at the Kathale Kul Sammelan in Nagpur.</p>

BJP defends Bhagwat's remark Union Minister Giriraj Singh reacted to the criticism of Owaisi on Bhagwat's fertility remark. "Owaisi is such a person - when the platinum jubilee of the constitution was being celebrated, he was absent during the national anthem and national song. Our expert, Siddharth Maurya, Founder & Managing Director of Vibhavangal Anukulakara Private Limited, shares thumb rules on managing tax on overseas income. For residents living in India, global income is regarded as taxable in India, however, there are certain exceptions specified such as Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs) with various countries. Determination of Residential status is done on the basis of the number of days an individual stays in the territory of India during the course of the financial year and there are tax obligations associated with certain thresholds. Any income earned from foreign sources has to be declared and includes salary, capital gains after selling an asset, dividends after investing in shares and rental income. However, such a strategic tax plan can also include taking advantage of the available provisions for non-residents in a DTT, which can alleviate double taxation and lower total taxes. A taxpayer can claim offset due to foreign taxes, and certain exemption thresholds, consolidate sources of revenue and endorse tax efficiency. International tax specialist has to be consulted and strong records have to be kept to deal with this complex web of taxes and comply with the country as well as the foreign tax laws.
