<p>Fouzia Azeem, better known by her stage name Qandeel Baloch, was a model, actress, social media celebrity and activist.</p>

<p>She rose to prominence due to her videos on social networks discussing her daily routine, her rights as a Pakistani woman, and various controversial issues. She was strangled to death by her brother Muhammad Waseem.</p>

<p>Shrivastava, whose film credits include "Lipstick Under My Burkha", "Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare", and web series like "Made in Heaven" and "Bombay Begums", said she was always fascinated by Baloch's life story.</p>

<p>"When Qandeel Baloch was murdered in Pakistan in 2016, I was shaken up. It was a heinous honour killing. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I started watching Qandeel's videos repeatedly, and I was fascinated.</p>

<p>"She was so charming and full of life. A poor girl from a small village, who worked her way up to being provocatively famous. She was just 26 when she was killed. And ironically, it's only after her death that she has been reclaimed as a feminist," the director said in a statement.</p>

<p>This film is an ode to the courageous spirit of Baloch, she added.</p>

<p>"It will chronicle her sensational and astonishing rise to fame. I hope to piece together the memories of the rebellious, funny and vulnerable young girl, whose life was cut short because she shimmered too bright. The film will celebrate her spunk and lust for life by telling her story without judgment, hopefully the way she would have liked to tell it," Shrivastava said.</p>

<p>Sharma and Khanna said for them this movie is an opportunity for them to tell a unique story on female agency and systemic gender violence.<br />
Sharma, who has produced films like "Qarib Qarib Single" and "Dobaara" among others, said the story of Baloch deserves to be told by a right filmmaker and he is happy to have collaborated with Shrivastava for the upcoming feature.</p>

<p>"Qandeel's story needs to be told by a sensitive filmmaker who is passionate about women's stories. Alankrita is just the filmmaker for it. And not just because she is an award-winning feminist filmmaker, but because she has so much empathy for her characters. She tells their stories with candour and warmth," the producer said. Sharing similar sentiments, Khanna said the world needs to know about Baloch.</p>

<p>In a shocking development, a 21-year-old Kannada small screen actress died while undergoing fat removal surgery in Bengaluru on Tuesday.</p>

<p>According to police, she was undergoing surgery without knowledge of her parents.</p>

<p>Chetana Raj is the young actress who succumbed during surgery. The parents are now alleging negligence on part of the surgeons. They are also saying that the surgery was conducted without proper equipment.</p>

<p>Chetana Raj is a resident of Abbigere in Bengaluru. The hospital authorities are maintaining that the death occurred due to water getting deposited in her lungs during surgery.</p>

<p>Chethana Raj had acted in popular serials `Geetha`, `Doresaani`, `Olavina Nildana`. She had also acted in `Havayaami`, a Kannada movie.</p>

<p>Govinda Raj, father of Chetana Raj explained that his daughter was admitted to the hospital at 8.30 am on Monday. By the time they got to know about it, the surgery had already started.</p>

<p>By the evening, the lungs were filled with water or fat content and she had faced breathing problems. There were no proper facilities in the ICU, he said.</p>

<p>Chetana Raj had asked them for permission to undergo fat surgery but the family had told her not to undergo the surgery. She had undergone surgery without family members` knowledge, he explained.</p>

<p>"My daughter died due to the negligence of the hospital. The doctors have conducted surgery without parental consent and without proper equipment," he stated.</p>

<p>Anyone who has seen season 13 of the popular reality TV show 'Bigg Boss' knows who Shehnaaz Kaur Gill is. The Punjabi singer-actress rose to fame with her 'Bigg Boss' stint and she garnered a huge fandom with her cute and funny antics on the Salman Khan-hosted show. She shares a close bond with Salman and the two are often spotted together at events and B-town parties. Last month, some reports suggested that Shehnaaz will be seen playing a pivotal role in the Salman Khan-starrer and today, a video of the diva stepping out of a vanity van at 'Kabhie Eid Kabhi Diwali' set is doing the rounds of the internet.</p>

<p>In the leaked video, Shehnaaz is seen donning traditional South Indian attire. The beautiful lehenga with a pink <em>dupatta</em> looked great on the actress as she headed toward the film set.&nbsp;She was also seen sporting a braid with some&nbsp;jasmine flowers on it.&nbsp;Although the makers of the film 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' are yet to announce their collaboration with Shehnaaz, the video confirms that the actress will be playing an important role in the film.</p>

<p>According to several media reports, Shehnaaz will be paired opposite Aayush Sharma. The film will also reportedly star Zaheer Iqbal and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The film is being shot in Mumbai and the team has reportedly built two big sets in Vile Parle for a 10-day shoot. The rest of the shoot is expected to take place at&nbsp;Mehboob Studios.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Camila Cabello has announced that she will be joining the panel of coaches on NBC's 'The Voice' for its upcoming 22nd season. As per Variety, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter made the news public on Sunday morning through a post on TikTok, in which she conducts and sings alongside footage of Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Blake Shelton, who have been serving as coaches on `The Voice` alongside host Carson Daly.</p>

<p>Captioning the post `See you this fall,` Cabello`s involvement was also confirmed by NBCUniversal. Having featured as a part-time advisor on the show`s 21st season, she is now joining as a full-time coach for the first time on the show.</p>

<p>Stefani has been a full-time coach for `The Voice` for five of the show`s 21 seasons, but with no consecutive seasons. Legend has maintained his full-time coaching term since attending the show in Season 16 of Spring 2019. As per Variety, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter made the news public on Sunday morning through a post on TikTok, in which she conducts and sings alongside footage of Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Blake Shelton, who have been serving as coaches on `The Voice` alongside host Carson Daly.

Having featured as a part-time advisor on the show`s 21st season, she is now joining as a full-time coach for the first time on the show. Stefani has been a full-time coach for `The Voice` for five of the show`s 21 seasons, but with no consecutive seasons. Legend has maintained his full-time coaching term since attending the show in Season 16 of Spring 2019.
