Selena Gomez recently confessed to a lie and revealed that she cried her eyes out in her room when she got trolled for gaining weight. She revealed that she pretended to not be affected by the mean comments and that she thinks it's unfair to shame someone for how they look or who they love.</p>

<p>"I lied. I would go online and I would post a picture and I would say, 'It doesn’t matter. I'm not accepting what you’re saying,'" the actress said on Apple TV+ docuseries <em>Dear…</em>, which was released on Thursday.</p>

<p>"I was posting these things saying it doesn’t bother me because I didn't want it to bother other people who are experiencing the same thing," Gomez continued, adding, "Getting shamed for what they look like, who they are, who they love, I just think it's so unfair."</p>

<p>The 30-year-old thinks nobody deserves this kind of treatment. And, while talking about her lupus diagnosis, she added that people "couldn't wait" to find a reason to bring her down.</p>

As the showstopper, she walked gracefully for designer Anushree Reddy and flaunted her amazing creation in the best possible way. Despite suffering a heart attack recently, the actress fulfilled her work commitment with a huge smile on her face.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A video of the fashionista walking on the ramp was shared on the official Instagram handle of the fashion week. Dressed in a heavily-embellished silver-yellow lehenga, the diva flaunted a dewy makeup look and minimal jewellery. She left her tresses open and completed her look with a bindi.</p>

<p>On March 2, Sushmita gave a health update on her social media account.&nbsp;She revealed that she had to undergo an angioplasty and a stent had to be placed. She had also requested doctors to ensure no one knew about her hospitalisation.</p>

<p>Sen's post read,&nbsp;"I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back…Angioplasty done…stent in place…and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed ‘I do have a big heart’."&nbsp;Later in a live session, she informed her fans&nbsp;that she suffered a "massive heart attack"&nbsp;which was triggered by a 95% blockage in one of her main arteries.</p>

<p>Last week, the actress said that she has recovered and has been "cleared"&nbsp;by her doctors. Talking about her work commitments, Sen wrote, "Once I get a clearance from my doctors, I will be off to Jaipur to finish <em>Aarya </em>and I will also be working on the dubbing for <em>Taali</em>."&nbsp;</p>

<p>In&nbsp;her upcoming film <em>Taali</em>, she will be essaying the role of a trans woman.</p>

Razzie Awards 2023: Tom Hanks, Jared Leto, Blonde earn top dishonours

<p>According to a first-of-its-kind study, published in the journal Neuroepidemiology, over 10 million older adults aged 60 or more in India may have dementia, comparable to the prevalence rates for the US, the UK and other countries.</p>

<p>The research&nbsp;used an artificial intelligence (AI) technique known as semi-supervised machine learning to analyse data from 31,477 older adults. The&nbsp;team of researchers found that the prevalence rate of dementia in people aged 60 or more in India could be a striking 8.44 per cent, which equals&nbsp;10.08 million older adults in the country.</p>

<p>This compares to prevalence rates recorded in similar age groups of 8.8 per cent in the US, 9 per cent in the UK and between 8.5 and 9 per cent in Germany and France, the researchers added.</p>

<p>The prevalence of dementia was greater in older people, women, who received no education, and lived in rural areas, according to the&nbsp;researchers.</p>

<p>“Our research was based on the first and only nationally representative ageing study in India with more than 30,000 participating older adults in the country,” said Haomiao Jin, co-author of the study and Lecturer in Health Data Sciences at the University of Surrey, UK.</p>

<p>“AI has a unique strength in interpreting large and complex data like this, and our research found that the prevalence of dementia may be higher than prior estimates from local samples,” Jin said in a statement.</p>

<p>The AI learning model was developed by research teams from the University of Surrey, the University of Southern California, the University of Michigan, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.</p>

<p>The model was trained on data, which consisted of about 70 per cent labelled dataset with dementia diagnoses from a novel online consensus.</p>

<p>The remaining 30 per cent of the data was reserved to assess the AI’s predictive accuracy.</p>

<p>Surprisingly, the AI taught itself to predict dementia status for unlabelled observations without dementia diagnoses in the dataset.</p>

According to a first-of-its-kind study, published in the journal Neuroepidemiology, over 10 million older adults aged 60 or more in India may have dementia, comparable to the prevalence rates for the US, the UK and other countries. The research used an artificial intelligence (AI) technique known as semi-supervised machine learning to analyse data from 31,477 older adults. The team of researchers found that the prevalence rate of dementia in people aged 60 or more in India could be a striking 8.44 per cent, which equals 10.08 million older adults in the country. This compares to prevalence rates recorded in similar age groups of 8.8 per cent in the US, 9 per cent in the UK and between 8.5 and 9 per cent in Germany and France, the researchers added. The prevalence of dementia was greater in older people, women, who received no education, and lived in rural areas, according to the researchers. “Our research was based on the first and only nationally representative ageing study in India with more than 30,000 participating older adults in the country,” said Haomiao Jin, co-author of the study and Lecturer in Health Data Sciences at the University of Surrey, UK. Also read: Depression symptoms may raise risk of stroke: Study “AI has a unique strength in interpreting large and complex data like this, and our research found that the prevalence of dementia may be higher than prior estimates from local samples,” Jin said in a statement. The AI learning model was developed by research teams from the University of Surrey, the University of Southern California, the University of Michigan, and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The model was trained on data, which consisted of about 70 per cent labelled dataset with dementia diagnoses from a novel online consensus. The remaining 30 per cent of the data was reserved to assess the AI’s predictive accuracy. Surprisingly, the AI taught itself to predict dementia status for unlabelled observations without dementia diagnoses in the dataset.
