<p>To honour Taylor Swift and her decision to kickstart her much-anticipated Eras Tour from Arizona, the city of Glendale wanted to do "something highly unusual". So they have decided to temporarily rename itself and celebrate the launch of her US tour.</p>

<p>Officials in Glendale, Arizona have confirmed that they will rename the city by March 13 and it will remain in effect till March 18, which is when Swift is performing in Glendale.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A statement from city officials read,&nbsp;"There is no need to calm down, we're fearless and doing something highly unusual to celebrate the fact that Taylor's concerts start right here!"</p>

<p>"We know all too well that she's one of the most influential artists of her generation and we are writing our own love story for her and greeting every Swiftie in style!"</p>

<p>The singer will kickstart her tour at Glendale's State Farm Stadium on March 17, before heading to Las Vegas on March 24.</p>

<p>Some reports suggest that the city's Westgate Entertainment District shopping centre will also display greetings and welcome messages for the singer. That's not all, the restaurants in the town will change their menus to offer meals inspired by Swift.</p>

The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the US, with international dates to be announced as soon as we can!"</p>

<p>Later, eight more shows were added to&nbsp;her US tour, bringing the total number of stops to 35.</p>

<p>Cox added, "You look in the mirror and go, 'Oh, that looks good,' you think, and you don't realise what it looks like to the outside person and just doing too many fillers and having to have them removed, which thank god they are removable.&nbsp;I think I messed up a lot and now luckily I can,&nbsp;I was able to reverse most of that. Now, I'm actually just older... I look at pictures of me from when I thought I looked okay, and I can't believe it."</p>

Oscars 2023: Deepika Padukone leaves for Los Angeles ahead of 95th Academy Awards

<p>According to a study published in the online issue of <em>Neurology</em>, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, those who have depression symptoms might be at an elevated risk of suffering a stroke. Researchers also discovered that persons who had depression symptoms were more likely to have a poor recovery after a stroke.</p>

<p>“Depression affects people around the world and can have a wide range of impacts across a person’s life,” said study author Robert P. Murphy, MBBS, of the University of Galway in Ireland. “Our study provides a broad picture of depression and its link to the risk of stroke by looking at a number of factors including participants’ symptoms, life choices and antidepressant use. Our results show depressive symptoms were linked to increased stroke risk and the risk was similar across different age groups and around the world.”</p>

<p>The study involved 26,877 adults from the INTERSTROKE study and included people from 32 countries across Europe, Asia, North and South America, the Middle East and Africa. Participants had an average age of 62.</p>

<p>Of the participants, more than 13,000 had a stroke. They were matched with more than 13,000 people who had not experienced a stroke but were similar in age, sex, racial or ethnic identity.</p>

<p>Participants completed questionnaires at the beginning of the study regarding cardiovascular risk factors, including high blood pressure and diabetes. Researchers collected information regarding symptoms of depression within the year prior to the study. They were asked whether they had felt sad, blue, or depressed for two or more consecutive weeks during the past 12 months.</p>

<p>Of the study participants, 18% of those who had a stroke had symptoms of depression compared to 14% of those who did not have a stroke.</p>

<p>After adjusting for age, sex, education, physical activity and other lifestyle factors, people with symptoms of depression before stroke had a 46 per cent increased risk of stroke compared to those with no symptoms of depression.</p>

<p>The more symptoms participants had, the higher their risk of stroke. Participants who reported five or more symptoms of depression had a 54 per cent higher risk of stroke than those with no symptoms, while those who reported three to four symptoms of depression and those who reported one or two signs of depression had 58 per cent and 35 per cent higher risk, respectively.</p>

<p>While people with symptoms of depression were not more likely to have more severe strokes, they were more likely to have worse outcomes one month after the stroke than those without symptoms of depression.</p>

<p>“In this study, we gained deeper insights into how depressive symptoms can contribute to stroke,” Murphy added. “Our results show that symptoms of depression can have an impact on mental health, but also increase the risk of stroke. Physicians should be looking for these symptoms of depression and can use this information to help guide health initiatives focused on stroke prevention.”</p>

<p>A limitation of the study was that participants filled out questionnaires about symptoms of depression only at the start of the study, so the effects of depression over time could not be measured.</p>

According to a study published in the online issue of Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, those who have depression symptoms might be at an elevated risk of suffering a stroke.

According to a study published in the online issue of Neurology, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, those who have depression symptoms might be at an elevated risk of suffering a stroke. Researchers also discovered that persons who had depression symptoms were more likely to have a poor recovery after a stroke. “Depression affects people around the world and can have a wide range of impacts across a person’s life,” said study author Robert P. Murphy, MBBS, of the University of Galway in Ireland. “Our study provides a broad picture of depression and its link to the risk of stroke by looking at a number of factors including participants’ symptoms, life choices and antidepressant use. Our results show depressive symptoms were linked to increased stroke risk and the risk was similar across different age groups and around the world.” The study involved 26,877 adults from the INTERSTROKE study and included people from 32 countries across Europe, Asia, North and South America, the Middle East and Africa. Participants had an average age of 62. Of the participants, more than 13,000 had a stroke. They were matched with more than 13,000 people who had not experienced a stroke but were similar in age, sex, racial or ethnic identity. Participants completed questionnaires at the beginning of the study regarding cardiovascular risk factors, including high blood pressure and diabetes. Researchers collected information regarding symptoms of depression within the year prior to the study. They were asked whether they had felt sad, blue, or depressed for two or more consecutive weeks during the past 12 months. Of the study participants, 18% of those who had a stroke had symptoms of depression compared to 14% of those who did not have a stroke. Also read: Understand endometriosis: The painful condition afflicting Bindi Irwin After adjusting for age, sex, education, physical activity and other lifestyle factors, people with symptoms of depression before stroke had a 46 per cent increased risk of stroke compared to those with no symptoms of depression. The more symptoms participants had, the higher their risk of stroke. Participants who reported five or more symptoms of depression had a 54 per cent higher risk of stroke than those with no symptoms, while those who reported three to four symptoms of depression and those who reported one or two signs of depression had 58 per cent and 35 per cent higher risk, respectively. While people with symptoms of depression were not more likely to have more severe strokes, they were more likely to have worse outcomes one month after the stroke than those without symptoms of depression. “In this study, we gained deeper insights into how depressive symptoms can contribute to stroke,” Murphy added. “Our results show that symptoms of depression can have an impact on mental health, but also increase the risk of stroke. Physicians should be looking for these symptoms of depression and can use this information to help guide health initiatives focused on stroke prevention.” A limitation of the study was that participants filled out questionnaires about symptoms of depression only at the start of the study, so the effects of depression over time could not be measured. <p>Oscar-winning director&nbsp;Alex Gibney started working on a documentary based on the life and successes of the CEO of SpaceX and Chief Executive Officer of Twitter, Elon Musk, a couple of months ago. According to reports, the project&nbsp;is being billed as a "definitive and unvarnished examination of Tesla, SpaceX, and multi-billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk".</p>

<p>Gibney made the announcement of the documentary on Monday and revealed that&nbsp;he is "hugely excited" about its release. "I have been working on this film, off and on, for some time and am hugely excited about it," he said. "I am delighted by this extraordinary group who are working with me. Onward!"</p>

<p>The film is being bankrolled by Jigsaw Productions, alongside Closer Media, Anonymous Content, and Double Agent. Stacey Offman and Richard Perello will executive produce the project. Meanwhile, Joey Marra and Xin will produce the much-anticipated documentary on&nbsp;behalf of Closer Media.</p>

<p>Speaking about the project, Closer Media founder Zhang Xin told Variety, "Now is the moment for a rigorous portrait of Elon Musk, who is undeniably one of the most influential figures of our time. Closer Media is thrilled to join forces with Alex Gibney, Anonymous Content, and Double Agent to take on the challenge of examining Musk and his impact on the world."</p>

<p>Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to social media on Tuesday to give a health update and thank fans for their prayers and best wishes. The actor recently got injured on the Hyderabad set of his upcoming movie <em>Project K</em>&nbsp;while filming an action sequence.</p>

<p>Confirming the same via his blog post, the 80-year-old&nbsp;revealed that he suffered a muscle tear to his right rib cage and is currently recovering at his home in Mumbai, Jalsa.</p>

<p>In a Twitter post, the actor wrote on Tuesday, "Gratitude and love ever… for your concern and wishes… your prayers are the cure… I rest and improve with your prayers (sic).</p>

<p>Before flying back to Mumbai, Bachchan had said the doctor at a Hyderabad-based hospital, where he underwent a CT scan, advised him to rest.</p>

<p>Nag Ashwin's <em>Project K</em>&nbsp;is currently&nbsp;put on hold. Big B will resume shooting once he recovers from his injuries.&nbsp;The movie, which also stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles, is expected to hit the screens on January 12, 2024.</p>

<p>Spinning holograms were projected in the windows of the store — located across the street from France's Elysee Palace — and one model carried the three-dimensional projection in a handbag.</p>

<p>"My goal is to manage the label and bring it on track," he said, speaking to journalists after the show as he greeted guests including French singer Mireille Mathieu.</p>

<p>“Have you even seen a wild horse at a fashion show or a whisperer?” McCartney asked the stunned fashion press on a crowded balcony above the manege that still smelled of horse. She said organizers called her “crazy” for attempting to get wild horses to a show.</p>

<p>Yet McCartney said fall-winter in particular seemed a good time to highlight cruelty-free designs with the unique spectacle of wild animals living, breathing and playing together.</p>

<p>“I really wanted to make a connection with our fellow creatures because there is so much leather and fur and feathers on the runway, especially in winter,” McCartney told Associated Press. “I wanted to show that you can do (fashion) in a different way you don’t need to kill anything and it can be (just) as luxurious.”</p>

<p>McCartney said the horses had many personal meanings to her, from the photography of her mother Linda and sister Mary to “being British,” speaking to the love for horses that runs deep in the UK.</p>

<p>She said the message of the horses “is that they’re alive and the clothes haven’t killed anything so there’s a kind of celebration of everything living in harmony with one another.”</p>

<p>The horse handler was a star of the show. McCartney said she first saw him at a London horse show and was impressed with his work. “They are his wild horses. He doesn’t use any bridles, any saddles and he’s a horse whisperer ... They’re his little babies,” she said. “I can’t even get my dog to do that.”</p>

<p><strong>AZ FACTORY</strong></p>

<p>There’s still a bitter-sweet tinge at AZ Factory shows. The brand was created by designer Alber Elbaz just before his 2021 death from COVID.</p>

<p>Elbaz, still reeling from his ouster as a longtime Lanvin designer, had wanted to make a brand touting a new way of doing luxury – easier on designers, body positive, and more affordable. AZ Factory was just that. Since his death, guest designers have moonlighted for the brand, remaining faithful to its ethos, and Elbaz is still felt in the house spirit.</p>

<p>On Monday, ruffles, toggles, belts and ties brought a utilitarian dimension to the soft ready-to-wear designs. There was a sense of relaxation running throughout as the models walked nonchalantly in low-key platform sandals.</p>

<p>A furry coat with a swirling pink motif and inbuilt scarf became a total look, covering the model completely with ankle warmers in the same material. It was fun and tactile.</p>

7 wild horses strut down the runway for Stella McCartney's Paris Fashion Week show

<p>The war of&nbsp;words continues! After the Indian actor's team issued a clarification,&nbsp;Nawazuddin Siddiqui himself took to his official Instagram handle to put forth his side of the story in his own words. To respond to the disturbing allegations made against him by his estranged wife Aaliya, the 48-year-old shared a long note and wrote, "This is not an allegation but expressing my emotions."</p>

<p>For those uninitiated,&nbsp;Nawazuddin's estranged wife posted a series of videos on Instagram earlier this week and accused the <em>Gangs of Wasseypur </em>actor of throwing her and her children out of their home. She alleged that she has little to no money and no place to live. The now-viral clip also showed the actor's daughter crying in distress outside the building.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nawazuddin started his statement by saying that people think he is a "bad guy" because he has maintained a dignified silence amid the ugly battle. "I am termed as a bad guy everywhere because of my silence. The reason I have kept quiet is because all this <em>tamasha </em>(drama) will somewhere be read by my small children."</p>

<p>He further added, "Social Media Platforms, Press &amp; A bunch of people are really enjoying my character assassination on the basis of one-sided &amp; manipulated videos. There are a few points, I would like to express - First of all, me and Aaliya do not stay together since several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids. Does anyone know, why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, wherein the school is sending me letters every day that it’s been too long an absence? My kids have been made hostage for the past 45 days &amp; are missing their schooling in Dubai."</p>

<p>Addressing the financial issues raised by his estranged wife, Nawazuddin continued, "She had abandoned the kids in Dubai for the last 4 months before calling them here on the pretext of demanding money. On average, she is being paid approx Rs 10 lakh per month for the past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities."</p>

<p>That's not all, the actor also claimed that he spent crores of rupees to finance three of her films and also gave her luxury cars which she sold at her own will. "I have also financed her 3 films costing me crores of rupees, just to help her set up her income stream since she is the mother of my kids. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. I have also bought a lavish sea-facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my children. Aaliya was made the co-owner of the said apartment as my kids are small. I have given my children a rented apartment in Dubai, where she was also living comfortably."</p>

<p>To answer why Aaliya would be making the claims online, Nawaz said, "She only wants more money and hence has filed numerous cases on me and my mother &amp; it’s her routine, she has done the same in the past too and withdraws the case when paid as per her demand."</p>

To respond to the disturbing allegations made against him by his estranged wife Aaliya, the 48-year-old shared a long note and wrote, "This is not an allegation but expressing my emotions." For those uninitiated, Nawazuddin's estranged wife posted a series of videos on Instagram earlier this week and accused the Gangs of Wasseypur actor of throwing her and her children out of their home. She alleged that she has little to no money and no place to live. The now-viral clip also showed the actor's daughter crying in distress outside the building. Nawazuddin started his statement by saying that people think he is a "bad guy" because he has maintained a dignified silence amid the ugly battle. "I am termed as a bad guy everywhere because of my silence. The reason I have kept quiet is because all this tamasha (drama) will somewhere be read by my small children." He further added, "Social Media Platforms, Press & A bunch of people are really enjoying my character assassination on the basis of one-sided & manipulated videos. There are a few points, I would like to express - First of all, me and Aaliya do not stay together since several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids. Does anyone know, why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, wherein the school is sending me letters every day that it’s been too long an absence? My kids have been made hostage for the past 45 days & are missing their schooling in Dubai." Addressing the financial issues raised by his estranged wife, Nawazuddin continued, "She had abandoned the kids in Dubai for the last 4 months before calling them here on the pretext of demanding money. On average, she is being paid approx Rs 10 lakh per month for the past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities." That's not all, the actor also claimed that he spent crores of rupees to finance three of her films and also gave her luxury cars which she sold at her own will. "I have also financed her 3 films costing me crores of rupees, just to help her set up her income stream since she is the mother of my kids. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. I have also bought a lavish sea-facing apartment in Versova, Mumbai for my children. Aaliya was made the co-owner of the said apartment as my kids are small. I have given my children a rented apartment in Dubai, where she was also living comfortably." To answer why Aaliya would be making the claims online, Nawaz said, "She only wants more money and hence has filed numerous cases on me and my mother & it’s her routine, she has done the same in the past too and withdraws the case when paid as per her demand." He wrote, "Any parent on this planet will never want their kids to miss out on their studies or hamper their future, they will always try to give their best of the best possible things. Whatever I am earning today is all for both of my kids and no person can change this. I love Shora & Yani and I will go to any extent to secure their well-being and their future. I have won all the cases so far and will continue to place my faith in the judiciary. Love is not to hold one back, but to let one fly in the right direction." On the professional front, Nawazuddin was last seen in Heropanti 2, which also starred Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria. The actor will be next seen in Haddi.
