Two brides from Nigeria were propelled to leave their wedding and write their final exams on April 7, dressed in their wedding attire, reports said.

Dorcas Atsea and Deborah Atoh had fixed their wedding dates when the exam, originally scheduled for February, was postponed due to inadequate facilities at the Benue State University in Nigeria's Middle Belt region, reports said.
The two women tried to find a solution and tried to speak to the exam officer when she gave them an ultimatum of choosing one of the two options - wedding or exam.
As soon as they entered the exam hall, students began showering them with wishes, cheers, and applause.
Course lecturer Dr Benjamin Ogbu reportedly said that it was unfair to change the dayes for the exam for just one or two people as it would have involved a long and tedious process.
