World Business Watch: US automaker Ford increases investment in electrification of cars

Ford expects 40% of its global sales to be battery-electric vehicles by 2030 as it spends billions to develop them. The automaker said in a presentation to investors on Wednesday that it would add about $8 billion to its EV development spending by 2025 from this year.
