The United States has upped its bid now. The country is now aiming to cap Russian oil prices and is held talks with India over its proposal as well. Seeking global support to cut Russian revenue, U.S Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo after meeting Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said that he held constructive talks with his Indian counterparts about the price cap proposal.
