Tensions between the United States and Iran have flared again after CENTCOM confirmed strikes on Iranian radar, drone command and control facilities following the reported shootdown of a US MQ-1 drone over international waters. American fighter jets targeted sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island, saying the operation was a measured response to threats against US assets and commercial shipping in the region.
