Russian President Vladimir Putin has expressed his eagerness to meet Prime Minister Modi at the bricks Summit next month. Putin met top security officials including the Indian National Security adviser Ajit Doval at the bricks meeting in St Petersburg. Putin said he had proposed a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 22nd on the sidelines of the Summit in Kazan. This development comes as the Russia Ukraine situation shows a distinct escalation on the ground. Russia has pounded Ukraine's energy system in Sumi region. Watch in for more details!
