Ukraine’s anti-corruption bureau has launched an investigation into a $100 million kickback scheme allegedly involving the state nuclear company Energoatom.
High-level officials, including a businessman and former adviser to the energy minister, are reportedly implicated.
The probe comes as Ukraine faces winter energy challenges and ongoing Russian attacks on its power infrastructure.
President Zelenskiy and Prime Minister Svyrydenko have called for accountability, while opposition parties seek cabinet dismissals.
