Chinese DJI drones have long played a part in the conflict, with Ukraine purchasing many of the retail versions. Ukrainian soldiers often strap bombs straight to them to create a one-way attack drone or use them to drop grenades. Ukraine has frequently produced its own drones using crowdfunding.
