Uganda’s military chief, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has sparked global attention after suggesting that Uganda could join Israel in the ongoing Iran conflict. In a series of posts on X, he warned that any attempt to destroy Israel could bring Uganda into the war “on the side of Israel.”
Kainerugaba, the son of President Yoweri Museveni, is known for his outspoken views on global politics. While he often says his statements are personal, analysts believe they can signal broader policy direction.
