A Pakistani court has sentenced former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to 17 years in prison each in a corruption case over the underpriced purchase of luxury state gifts. Khan, jailed since August 2023, denies any wrongdoing. This conviction adds to a series of legal cases against the former premier, who is already serving a 14-year sentence in another graft case.
