Tirumala Tirupati Temple prepares For Brahmotsavam Festival With Purification Rituals

In order to prepare for the Brahmotsavam celebration, the Srivari temple in Tirumala Tirupati has started purification rites. Tuesday's event, which was part of the holy Koil Alwar rite, involves cleaning the temple with scented liquids. The festival of Brahmotsavam will begin on October 4 and end with the Chakrasnanam on October 14. This sacred rite, carried out four times a year, denotes the temple's sanctification.
