North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited a military base in the western region of the country to inspect the field training of troops and has ordered 'heightened readiness for war'. Kim's visit came after his defense ministry vowed to respond to ongoing South Korean-U.S. military drills that it views as an invasion rehearsal.
