A deadly gas leak at a seafood processing unit in Tamil Nadu has claimed nine lives, while dozens of workers remain hospitalised. Officials say many of the affected workers displayed symptoms consistent with ammonia exposure, raising concerns about industrial safety standards. At least 67 people are reported to be in critical condition and undergoing treatment.
