Political tensions are rising in Tamil Nadu as internal divisions within All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam deepen following Chief Minister Vijay’s TVK government winning the trust vote with support from 144 MLAs. AIADMK chief Edappadi K. Palaniswami has reportedly expelled several senior leaders accused of backing Vijay. At the same time, voices inside the party are growing louder for the return of V. K. Sasikala and T. T. V. Dhinakaran, signalling a major political shake-up ahead.
