Taiwan on alert after detecting "multiple waves" of missile firing deep in inland China. The development comes after Beijing said it had carried out a successful test launch of a ballistic missile. Taiwan said on Saturday that ‘firings’ were detected in Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang. Ministry says Taiwan's air defense forces have strengthened their alert after developments.
