The United Nations Human Rights Office has raised alarm over “unimaginable atrocities” in Sudan’s El-Fasher, where the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces have reportedly massacred civilians after seizing the city. Hundreds, including women and children, have been killed, and over 80,000 residents have fled amid the violence. Aid groups warn that thousands displaced to Tawila face starvation, illness, and psychological trauma as conditions worsen.
