Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the conscription of 135,000 men into the military, marking the largest autumn draft initiated by the Kremlin in nearly a decade.
According to a decree reported by the state-run TASS news agency, the draft will run from October 1 to December 31, 2025, and will apply to Russian citizens aged 18 to 30 who are not part of the reserve and are eligible for military service.
