Afghan Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani has issued a strong warning to Pakistan, vowing a “crushing response” if Islamabad continues its military operations along the Afghanistan–Pakistan border.
Haqqani’s remarks come amid rising tensions over alleged cross-border attacks and Pakistan’s claims that militants are being sheltered inside Afghanistan.
