Nigeria Boosts Crude Supply to Dangote Refinery Amid Iran War Oil Crisis

Nigeria is increasing crude oil allocations to the Dangote refinery as global fuel prices surge due to the ongoing Iran war. According to sources, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) will supply seven crude cargoes for May—up from five in previous months. Despite this increase, Africa’s largest refinery still faces a supply gap, requiring up to 15 cargoes monthly to operate at full capacity. The shortfall has forced Dangote to import crude at significantly higher prices, driven by disruptions in the Middle East.
