A Navy craft collided with the ferry Neel Kamal off Karanja, Mumbai, on December 18, 2024, claiming 13 lives, including one Naval personnel and two OEM. Rescue operations involving helicopters, naval, Coast Guard, and Marine Police boats have saved 99 survivors so far. Search efforts continue.
