Kevin Mayer steps down as TikTok CEO amid US government crackdown

CEO Kevin Mayer on Thursday resigned from Chinese video-sharing app TikTok. In a letter, Mayers said: "It is with a heavy heart that I wanted to let you all know that I have decided to leave the company."
