Japan's Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi announced that he would be going to Beijing for a two-day visit on the 1st of April. This will be the first such visit in over three years. He has said that he will be meeting his Chinese counterpart Qin Gang and the Chinese State Councillor Wang Yi.
