Iran War Ceasefire Talks: Trump Says Iranian Negotiators 'Can Call Anytime'

Donald Trump has canceled a planned trip by US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Islamabad, dealing a blow to ongoing diplomatic efforts with Iran.
The visit was expected to revive stalled ceasefire talks, but Trump said there was “no point” in sending officials for long-distance negotiations without clear progress.
Crucially, Trump clarified that canceling the trip does not mean the Iran war will restart, even as tensions remain high and negotiations uncertain.
