Iran jails French man Benjamin Briere for eight years on spying charges
An Iranian court has sentenced French man to eight years in prison on spying charges. The 36-year-old Benjamin Briere is the only western detainee known to be currently held in Iran without an Iranian passport, Brier was arrested in may 2020 after taking pictures in a national park.
