The 10th edition of the national maritime search and rescue exercise 2022 was inaugurated in Chennai. The two-day exercise which will be conducted under the national maritime search and rescue board, is hosted by the Indian coast guard. Defence secretary of India spoke to WION and elaborated the importance of this exercise and the commissioning of INS Vikrant.
