India: Survey of Gyanvapi Mosque resumes
The Archaeological Survey of India has resumed its survey of the Gyanvapi mosque in the city of Varanasi. The survey aims to determine whether the 17th-century Mosque was constructed over a pre-existing structure of a Hindu temple the Mosque Committee has challenged the survey and the petition is in India's Supreme Court.
