The Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken a major step in regulating digital content, banning over 20 OTT platforms and apps for allegedly hosting obscene, vulgar, and pornographic material. The banned platforms include popular names like AltBalaji, Ullu, Bigshots App, and DesiFlix, among others.
