In a testament to the world's cultural diversity, UNESCO has added both Garba, the Indian dance form, and Iftar, the Islamic breaking of the fast, to its list of Intangible Cultural Heritage. These additions recognise Garba's role in promoting social harmony and Iftar's significance in fostering community and reflection.
