German police have launched a massive manhunt after a professionally planned vault heist at a customs office in Duisburg. Investigators say the suspects drilled through a wall from a cellar room to access the vault and escaped with €6.5 million in cash.
Witnesses reported hearing drilling sounds early in the morning before seeing three men in dark clothing load items into a white van and flee the scene. Authorities are now offering a €100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those involved. Germany has seen several high-profile robberies in recent years, with banks and public institutions increasingly targeted.
