Germany forces Apple to change tracking rules

Germany’s Federal Cartel Office has pushed Apple to change its App Tracking Transparency rules after finding that Apple’s own apps received more favourable consent prompts than third-party apps. Apple will redesign the prompts to make them more neutral and give developers more flexibility in explaining personalised advertising.
