At the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, leaders called for comprehensive ceasefires in both Gaza and Lebanon. They also welcomed all constructive initiatives supporting durable peace in Ukraine. In their joint declaration, the leaders endorsed a US-proposed permanent ceasefire in Gaza in exchange for the release of all hostages.
