Indian equities face choppy weekly trade

Indian equity benchmarks closed a choppy trading week higher, even as elevated crude oil prices, currency pressure and lingering foreign investor caution kept market participants on edge. The Sensex and the Nifty added around 1.5 percent each during the course of the week.
