'Tinselling' is inspired by the glittery and festive appearance of tinsel, commonly used to adorn Christmas trees. It's quite normal to get swept up in the holiday spirit during Christmas and even more common for couples who are struggling in their relationships to gloss over their problems while the festival is underway. But experts are calling out such behaviour and they have now named this practice tinselling.
