Investors worldwide are reevaluating their strategies amid china's economic struggles, regulatory uncertainties, and a property crisis. China's share of the msci emerging markets index has hit a historic low. The value plummeted to 23.77% as of december 31, according to bloomberg calculations. This marks a significant decline from its peak weight of 2020, now trailing by approximately 16 percentage points.
