China & US negotiators seek reciprocal tariff cuts

China and the United States are pushing to reach a deal on reciprocal tariff cuts on $30 billion worth of goods, a Chinese Commerce Ministry spokesperson said. The push comes ahead of a planned meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump, raising hopes of a fresh trade breakthrough.
