China pushes back against US Sanctions on LNG project

The United States' imposition of sanctions on Russia's Arctic LNG-2 project has triggered a geopolitical ripple effect. The project, slated to kick off production in early 2024, is now facing unexpected challenges. Amid these setbacks, Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman Mao Ning affirmed on Tuesday that the two nations will persist in their economic and trade cooperation.
