In the wake of the Eaton wildfire, which scorched over 14,000 acres, Angel City Lumber is repurposing burned trees into usable lumber to help rebuild the Altadena community. Founder Jeff Perry’s “Altadena Reciprocity Project” aims to supply affordable, finished-grade materials like flooring and molding—though the effort still needs funding and manpower to meet demand.
