Anti-Maoist Operations Underway In India: Fresh Encounter In Chhattisgarh

A major anti-Maoist operation is underway in Bastar's Bijapur district. Security forces recovered six Maoist bodies along with a significant cache of weapons and explosives in the forests of Indravati National Park.
One injured Maoist has been taken into custody and is undergoing medical treatment. Recovered arms include INSAS rifles, Sten guns, a .303 rifle, explosives, detonators, and Maoist paraphernalia. Authorities launched the operation following intelligence about Maoist presence in the Taralagud area of Annaram forests.
