Welsh actor Michael Sheen's oration skills were lauded by many once again as he gave a stirring speech to the Wales football team ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022 later this year. Sheen, who has been a football fan all his life, showcased his passion for the country with some inspiring lines for the Wales players.

Sheen met the Wales players in their dressing room during a visit to their training facility earlier this week. He was presented a Wales shirt before he told the players he won't able to come to see them play in Qatar in the World Cup later this year. However, the actor said he would give them something which they can take with them to the World Cup.

"I couldn't come and see you and not give you something to go with. I'll try and customise what I did before and give you something to take with you," said Sheen before composing himself to produce one of the best dressing room speeches in the game.

Rudman added, "Temperatures are expected to peak at 35C on Friday and Saturday, or even an isolated 36C on Saturday. Elsewhere will see temperatures widely into the high 20s and low 30s Celsius. Coupled with the high daytime temperatures there will be some warm nights, with temperatures expected not to drop below the low 20s Celsius for some areas in the south." Off the pitch and in the privacy of his personal life and home and behind closed doors, there was a much uglier and more sinister side to his character," he said. Wright said the case involved "a litany of abuse, both physical and psychological of a woman that he professed to love".

Wales face Poland away in Wroclaw in the Nations League on June 1 before hosting the winner of the Scotland-Ukraine playoff semi-final in the World Cup playoff in Cardiff on June 5.

From Wednesday, unhappy spouses in England and Wales can end their marriages without blaming each other. The new rule is being touted as the biggest reform in divorce law in the country in half a century.&nbsp; 
 
The onset of "no-fault" divorces means one spouse no longer needs to prove the other guilty of adultery, "unreasonable behaviour" or desertion. 
 
Earlier, if such grounds did not exist, the couple were asked to live apart for two years before a divorce could be granted by the court. Sometimes if one of the partners objected to the proceedings, it could stretch up to five years.&nbsp; 
 
The change brings England and Wales into line with Scotland, which has its own legal system, and with other countries including the United States, Australia and Germany.

Several experts expect a rush of divorces by couples who were waiting for legal reforms, they also predict that it could lead to more marriages considering the separation would be simpler if need be.&nbsp;

The case of Tini Owens galvanised a campaign for change after she lost a Supreme Court fight in 2018, having failed to persuade the judges that her 40-year marriage should end.

Her husband had contested her claims of unreasonable behaviour, and the judges ruled that being trapped in an unhappy marriage was not in itself grounds for divorce.

"No-one should have to remain in a loveless marriage or endure a long, drawn-out and expensive court battle to end it," Owens said.

"This change in the law guards against that happening and I welcome it," she added.

The Indian Junior Women's Hockey team made a winning start to their campaign at the FIH Hockey Women's Junior World Cup here on Saturday as they beat Wales 5-1 in their first pool D match.

Goals were scored by Lalremsiami (4'), Lalrindiki (32', 57'), Mumtaz Khan (41') and Deepika (58') while Millie Holme (26') was the lone goal scorer for Wales.

The Indian team, led by Salima Tete, got off the blocks with a swift attack in the first quarter, creating a penalty corner within a few seconds of the start of the match.

But the Wales goalkeeper Ffion Horrell was quick to respond with a good save. However, the Indian players were determined to make a strong start and scored in the fourth minute through Lalremsiami's deflection that beat the Wales goalie.

Later, Mumtaz Khan took India's scoreline to 3-1 when she converted a brilliant field goal in the 41st minute. Meanwhile, Lalrindiki, a quick-thinking forward, was again at the centre of all the action when she fetched India another PC with just three minutes left for the third quarter to end.

But the chance could not be converted with Horrell coming up with yet another fine save. Though India made another PC in the dying minutes of the third quarter, Salima's shot on goal went wide.

In the final quarter, India put up an improvised attack that saw them convert the chances with aplomb.

Lalrindiki was quick to respond as she picked up the rebound and found the gap in India's third attempt. This helped extend India's lead to 4-1 while another PC in the 48th minute which was converted by Deepika, helped fetch India their first win with a formidable 5-1 scoreline.

Following the big win, Captain Salima Tete expressed, "I am very proud of the way we played today. We got off to a good start but gave away chances in the second quarter. I am particularly happy about how we came back into the game in the third and fourth quarters, finishing it off really well. We play Germany tomorrow, a strong team but today's win will give the team good confidence." Indian Junior Women's Team will now take on Germany on Sunday.

To grab one of the "rarest objects" ever uncovered by Hansons Auctioneers, five phone bidders battled with the internet to buy the 470-year-old globe.&nbsp;The item was eventually sold at £116,000 to a private buyer in New York, America, who was bidding online.

The seller, who was watching the auction online said, "I thought I was pushing the boat at £150 when I bought it during the pandemic. I had no idea it was so important and valuable."

She added, "I watched the auction with my friend, my husband and a glass of wine. My friend was crying, I was in shock and my husband was totally and utterly dumbstruck. It goes without saying that I'm delighted."

Jim Spencer, who is the head of Hansons' Library Auction, came across the antique item when the seller took the object along for free valuation at Hansons’ Staffordshire saleroom, Bishton Hall.&nbsp;

After intense research, it was revealed that the globe was an incredibly rare circa 1550/60 globe. It was either made by Francois Demongenet, a French geographer known for globe gores which became a model for other makers. Or, it was a derivative of his design.&nbsp;

The globe shows a world before the country Australia had been discovered. The country, which by Dutch explorer Willem Janszoon in 1606, appears as part of a southern landmass called Terra Incognita.&nbsp;

Business affected will be supported by a 300 million pound ($390 million) fund, Drakeford said.

The United Kingdom recorded 16,982 new daily cases of COVID-19 in the space of 24 hours, according to government data issued on Sunday, up from 16,717 the previous day. Wales recorded 950 cases, up from just 400 at the start of the month.

All four countries of the United Kingdom are seeing a resurgence of COVID, and devolved governments and local councils are introducing a range of measures to try to stem the rise.

Northern Ireland started a four-week period of tougher curbs on Friday, while Scotland has imposed new rules for hospitality.

England has moved to a three-tier approach that has led to clashes between central and regional government.

“I already have managers ringing me when there are two games so when there are three ... it’s going to be tough. I’ll have to pick a squad of 40!" Giggs added.

Now largely owned by Kuwaiti and Italian private equity groups, Aston listed in October last year at 19 pounds per share but that has since plunged by around 75 per cent, hit most recently by falling demand in Europe and for its Vantage model.

The firm, which reported a pre-tax loss of $118 million&nbsp;in the first nine months of the year, has ploughed money into a new factory in Wales which will build the new DBX SUV model from next year.

"We're essentially holding the cost of a complete factory right now without the benefit of the revenues coming in ... so from that point of view of course it's a really important model," Chief Executive Andy Palmer told Reuters earlier this month.

Aston hopes to encourage more women buyers with its new offering and has received input from a female advisory body on the choice of certain features such as separate central arm rests and the design of the glovebox.

The first trial build of the DBX has been completed with production due in the second quarter of 2020 which the company hopes will contribute to a boost to its output, alongside sports cars made at its southern English Gaydon facility.

"If our volumes are slightly north of 6,000 this year, obviously you're adding another ultimately 4 or 5,000 so it's a big chunk of volume for us," said Palmer.
