<p>Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, 'Kedarnath' was Sara's debut film. A few days earlier, Kapoor in an interview stated that Sushant was aware and unhappy with the way Sara got more attention for the film.<br />

Sara’s father, Saif Ali Khan, in an interview to a daily said that Sara was shocked and ‘very, very, very upset’ by the news of Sushant’s death. “She liked him very much. She was quite impressed with certain aspects of his personality. She told me he was very intelligent, that he could discuss, you know, Jean-Paul Sartre and he could discuss various aspects of philosophy and engineering and that he had learned how to shoot with a bow and arrow left-handed, and he was very fit as well as very hard-working, and a good actor,” Saif had said.</p>

<p>Sushant died by suicide on June 14. The actor was reportedly suffering from depression.</p>

The person has accused Chakraborty of financial and mental exploitation of Rajput. ''My client is a huge fan of Rajput and has been deeply distressed by his suicide. He has filed his complaint under IPC Sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 420 (fraud),” Kumar’s lawyer Kamlesh told reporters.</p>

Sushant Singh Rajput death: Case filed against Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar

<p>Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case has now grabbed headlines in the country with debates picking momentum on mental health and nepotism. In connection with his suicide, his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated&nbsp;by the local Mumbai police.</p>

<p>The interrogation went on for over 9 hours and the actress was accompanied by her father.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Rumoured to be in a relationship with plans of getting married, Rhea was reportedly asked to show phone records to the police. According to a media report: "Rhea was asked to show all the text messages exchanged between the two. Her entire phone was scanned, including all their pictures and videos together. Rhea spoke about living in with Sushant and also revealed that they were planning to buy a property as well. She admitted that they did plan to get married by the end of 2020.”</p>

<p>The interrogation also revealed that the two had an alleged breakup over a fight. Rhea and Sushant were living together at his Carter Road penthouse which he had rented along with his friend, Siddharth Pitani. But she decided to move out with her bags just a few days before Sushant’s death.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When police raised suspicion on her moving out, Rhea told them that she had a fight and she left. “She showed the text messages exchanged after that between her and Sushant and also told them that they did speak over calls."&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sushant had also called Rhea on Saturday night, a few hours before he died by suicide. "Rhea happens to be the last person Sushant dialed before going to sleep. The actor called Mahesh Shetty first who didn't answer and then called Rhea who also didn't pick up the call. He went to sleep, woke up and saw Mahesh had returned the call. He called him back but it didn't get connected," call records suggested.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sushant was reportedly diagnosed with clinical depression and Rhea was the only person who he was with at all times.</p>

<p>Sushant and Rhea were supposed to begin work for Rumi Jaffrey's next but due to coronavirus scare the film was stalled.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As a virtual cold war ensues between different factions within the Indian entertainment industry over the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood’s Saif Ali Khan spoke about stars pretending to care over his death.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In an interview he said, “There are so many people who’ve made comments so quickly. And it just seems to me that people are somewhere gaining some mileage from this poor fellow’s tragedy, you know, whether it’s to show compassion or to show interest or to show some political stance. So many people are talking rubbish in this nonstop kind of barrage on social media and it’s just embarrassing, really, I think.”</p>

<p>“Out of respect for him, for Sushant’s tragedy, maybe a day of silence or introspection would be a little more becoming than this outpouring of love – an outpouring of love from people who obviously didn’t care about him and people who famously don’t care about anybody else,” he said.</p>

<p>Indian police will probe whether an up-and-coming Bollywood actor who committed suicide at the weekend was depressed in part due to "professional rivalry," in a film industry that is dominated by big names and has been accused of being insular.<br />

Sushant Singh Rajput, a 34-year-old actor who won acclaim and fans for his roles in several top-draw films, hailed from a middle-class family with no Bollywood connections - a relative rarity in the industry.<br />

Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on Sunday.<br />

"There are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry.<br />

According to Mumbai police sources, the actor was reportedly suffering from depression as the cops have found medical papers and anti-depressant pills from his house. "Police will be contacting Rajput's doctor and record his statement to know what type of medicines he was taking and what problem he was facing," they said.</p>

<p>As per the initial investigation yesterday, no suicide note was found from the actor's house. The police also do not suspect any foul play so far.</p>

<p>However, the actor’s family in Patna, Bihar are demanding a CBI probe into the death of their son. Sushant Singh Rajput's maternal uncle is alleging that the actor has been murdered and has appealed for a CBI probe into the incident from the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi.</p>

<p>"This is a case of murder. The youth of Bihar and the Rajput Mahasabha demands a CBI enquiry into the incident. We demand a CBI enquiry from Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi into the murder," said Sushant Singh Rajput's maternal uncle RC Singh.</p>

<p>The actor's last rites will be held today.</p>
